Oh Those Wildwood Days

Aloha! I'm drinking coffee (even though I complain that my teeth aren't as white as they used to be) =/ I am hopefully heading down to Wildwood, New Jersey to visit a few friends later tonight. I really really would love to drive down with my feet out the passenger side window and feel the salty breeze...but, that would probably look a bit weird since it will most likely be pitch black by the time me and my friends hit the road - hehe! I may stay to hit the beach tomorrow but I'm not sure yet? The iPod is currently charging! I, myself, charged my batteries last night by just hanging around, not doing too much. In other words, I am ready to go!! Aloha(since I believe it means hello and goodbye) haha lots of love!

Top of the morning! I am trying to decide what I should eat for breakfast..? Beings I have nothing in my house, I may have to venture to the outskirts for sustenance. Anyway, I had a really good time last night. It wasn't that crowded, but it was still a nice time. Surprisingly, I took zero pictures.

Random thought: The volume on my computer is still not working when I try to use YouTube or another website. I am going crazy! I have been unable to have my fix of tunes to listen to, while gallivanting on this thing. Iron & Wine, I miss you!!!

Hey Y'all..Boredom has consumed me today! I'm patiently waiting until about 10 o'clock tonight when I head out to see my friend bartend. Should be an interesting night. It is 2:56 p.m. and the rain just keeps-a-comin'! Boooo

Sushi in Ten

Me and a few friends went out for sushi and a couple drinks last night. So, we get to Izumi (the restaurant) around 9:30 and all the chairs outside were on top of the tables like they were closing for the night. We decide to go inside and ask if they were still open. The hostess looked like she wanted to kill us. Everyone was hesitant to whether or not to seat us. She finally says, "Um, yes you can sit down." Naturally, we all felt a little uncomfortable because we have now become the table that nobody wants to wait on. After all, it is the very end of the night and all the chefs, along with the two waitresses, can think about are their beds and how many minutes until they can dive into them. It seemed like we were being preyed upon - haha! (We also had to use inside voices, since we were the only people in there). The sushi came to our table in what seemed like 30 seconds, and we ate it in about 8 minutes [tops]. Needless to say, we all needed a few drinks after our record-breaking-fastest-dinner ever . So, we walked down the street to a Mexican restaurant/bar known as the Cantina. I grabbed my favorite beer on tap, Dos Equis and began to wash away the indigestion and hiccups, and to cool off (metaphorically speaking, since it was about 90 degrees and extremely humid). At least I had Janis along for the ride! See you guys later, lots of love!

Good morning/afternoon, everybody! I am still thrilled that I started a blog. Hopefully people will begin to comment as I begin to blurt things out that are of interest - haha. I'm going to start posting some pictures and maybe some of my writings! Random thought: I am in love with Lady Gaga's new song You and I. I cannot get enough of it. She said at a concert recently, that she is not going to release the song or put it on iTunes ;( I was a little upset, and now that the sound on my computer is currently not working, I am more upset than I thought I'd be. The song reminds me of an old alomst cabaret type song. It is truly a work of art. That's all for now. I'll probably be back later for a little update. Lots of love!

Hey there! So, I've finally created the blog I have been planning on creating for quite some time. This is day 1 and I am pretty excited. I'm apologizing in advance if I ever bore you with stupid facts or useless information that at a mere thought, help me get through the day - hehe. I've got some time on my hands and thought I should put my hands to work by typing. I will start by saying my name is Colleen and I live in Philadelphia. I am 20 years old and a college student majoring in Sociology. I love playing guitar and, though I probably should not admit this, love watching countless hours of romance at its best. I cry at the sweetest notions in movies...and in real life. Yes, I am a sap. I quickly feel inspired by the tiniest things in life, and use these beams of inspiration in my writing.
